Our Toyota Sequoia Rear Hitch Skid Cover/Rear Recovery Point is finished in wrinkled black powder coat, and is TIG welded with 1/4-inch high-strength steel to ensure durability. The recovery point is finished in wrinkled black powder coat, and is made with CNC billet steel.

The recovery point allows you to mount any standard 3/4-inch D-rings, or soft shackles for emergency off-road recovery.

The Rear Hitch Skid Cover replaces the OEM plastic hitch cover, and mounts to the trailer safety chain hook-up points.

On Sequoia models equipped with the hands-free kick-motion power liftgate, the sensor sits above the OEM hitch cover. Replacing the cover with this hybrid bumper may affect or disable hands-free operation. Standard liftgate controls remain fully functional.

Our Rear Hitch Skid Cover stands for a metal cover that doesn’t require cutting or trimming, while still providing extra protection. It is for mild to medium off-road usage, and it doesn’t replace the OEM crash bar/bumper beam, making it a hybrid bumper, and not a full metal bumper. It does not relate to the powertrain of your vehicle.
